His influences spread through to the styles of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson, and before long he was playing everyday, challenging his ear, writing licks and melodies, all the while repairing broken cars from Japan, and learning the plight of the working artist.
