Ski Sapphire – Welcome to your long, MLK holiday weekend! Ski Sapphire Valley opens at 9 on Saturday and will be open on Monday, Jan 15, 2024. As always – weather permitting. WEATHER ALERT: A chance of rain or freezing rain Monday between 8pm and 11pm, then rain. Low around 31. Breezy, with an east southeast wind 15 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Tuesday - Rain before 8am, then showers, mainly after 8am. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog before 2pm. High near 51. Breezy, with an east southeast wind 20 to 24 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 3 and 4 inches possible.
